You should note down the qualification criteria for each scholarship in your list. As there are a great many scholarship programs with different criteria for qualification, you would not have to spend much time on sorting it.
It is very important that you apply for the scholarships for which you fulfill all of the qualification criteria, but it is also important to apply for those for which you meet some criteria. There is no harm in applying, as at the most you may not get the scholarship but still you tried. Sometimes there are no takers for a scholarship, and you may very well get it if you have applied for it. A lot of scholarships are wasted simply because there is no one who wishes to claim it or have applied for it.
It is better if you keep your list even after you have applied to scholarships. It will help you see which ones you got and check which ones you did not get.

There is a big chance of getting this type of scholarship as many students tend to neglect it because of its less grant amount. But if you get approved for 10 such scholarships, you can easily pay off better than a larger scholarship.
